The first real photograph I made was of a woman eating an ice cream cone in a blizzard. She was holding her hat tight to her head, clenching her cone, walking into the wind. There wasn’t anybody else there. Sometimes you get lucky.
I decided to make more pictures, and received a dual B.A. from Fordham University in Fine Art Photography and Visual Media. I became a photo editor at a magazine. For ten years I produced stories for Condé Nast Publications; most recently, as the real weddings editor at Brides magazine. I learned how to tell beautiful stories through pictures, how to edit down to the moment.
Quietly I continued to make my own photographs. Portraits. Travel. Events. In addition to photography I do some floral work. Self-taught, I learned to arrange flowers first by watching my mom and later by styling lots and lots of photo shoots.
I would be honored to be a part of your project or celebration.
